Author: When computerization started, everything eventually became computerized. However, it was not easy making most of what we do were computerized. From manual, many things are already computerized. Our banking system is computerized. Many transactions are done on line. A lot of things have changed for the better as far as banking is concerned. With this computerization, banks offer different services to make banking easy for their clients. It is the same with the casino. Though things appear to be normal and not high tech, the system that runs the casino is computerized. Because of computerization, all systems became orderly, organized and updated. One can easily monitor or see the update on what is happening in the casino. If you are in-charge of the finances, you will immediately see the balance. It is not anymore difficult considering that everything is computerized. However, the downside is if the system fails. This is the nightmare of everyone. If the system fails, everything will stop. Many transactions and movement will be delayed. Since we are too dependent on the computerized system, we don’t see ourselves anymore doing those things manually. For example, you won one million dollars in the casino. You decided to have the money transferred to your account immediately. All of a sudden, the system failed. It will take a little longer before you can get your money unless the system is repaired immediately. But the computerization of the casino paved the way for other things to be done in the casino. Indeed, computerization has done a lot of better things for the casino.
