Author: Yateley south lake is a famous lake and it has got 26 varieties of different swims. Yateley North Lake is a home and a place of rest for the legendary Basil Forty which is an English true fish. This lake was controversially drained and restocked with the English Sutton lake carp after the tragically passing away of the Basil Forty. Yateley south lake has got a good climate and it provides 14 species of carp fish.
Yateley Lake is a very good place and because of the legendary Basil Forty it has become historic place. It is situated next to the Sandhurst which is a home for royal military officers wherein the British officers get their initial training. This lake provides different fishing environment like:-gravel humps, shelved shallows and deep weedy. Basil Forty a legendary carp fish, has a gravestone on the banks of Yateley lake.
Chilly at Yateley means Ian Chillcott Fishing at the Yateley Lake, his heart is always at Yateley Lake, he got obsessed of carp fishing and visited to traumatic hospitals where he was questioned about the carp fishing.
